Privacy Policy
01
Privacy Policy
At baseline.agency, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used.
The short version: this site has no accounts and no advertising trackers. What we hold is what you choose to send us, plus anonymous statistics about how the site is used.
02
Who is responsible for your data?
This website is operated by:
Baseline Studio SRL
Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Contact: Deaconu Victor
Email: victor@baseline.agency
Baseline Studio SRL is the data controller for the information described on this page. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or your personal data, you can contact us using the email address above.
03
What information we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you, work with you and keep the site running.
- When you get in touch. If you send an enquiry through the site, we receive your email address, the service and budget you indicate, and whatever you write in your message. If you email or message us directly, we receive your contact details and the conversation itself.
- When you book a call. Calls are scheduled through Cal.com. To book one you give your name, your email address, the time you choose and any notes you add.
- When you work with us. We keep the names, roles and contact details of the people on your team, your company and billing details, and the materials you share for the project.
- When you browse. We see aggregated statistics: which pages were viewed, the site a visit came from, the country, and the type of device, browser and operating system. Our hosting provider also keeps short-lived technical logs, which include IP addresses, to keep the site secure and reliable.
We do not ask for sensitive information, such as health or payment card details, and we would rather you did not send any. This site is not aimed at children.
04
How we use your information
We use your information for the reason you gave it to us, and for nothing unrelated.
- To reply and prepare a proposal. We act on your request, before any contract exists.
- To deliver the work. Running the project, keeping you updated and invoicing are part of performing our contract with you.
- To meet legal obligations. We keep invoices and accounting records because tax law requires it.
- To run and protect the site. We rely on our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used and keeping spam and abuse out of it. The enquiry form, for example, checks the IP address a message comes from to limit repeated submissions. That check is held in memory for a few minutes and is not stored.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.
05
Cookies and analytics
We do not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics, Vercel Web Analytics, works without cookies and does not follow you from site to site.
One preference is saved in your browser’s local storage: whether you have turned the site’s sound off. It stays on your device and is never sent to us.
The booking calendar is provided by Cal.com and runs inside the site, so Cal.com may store what the calendar needs in your browser. Links that leave the site, such as our social profiles, Telegram, or the AI assistants in the FAQ, take you to services with privacy policies of their own.
06
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the services that help us run the studio, and only as far as they need it:
- Vercel hosts the site and provides its analytics.
- Cal.com schedules our calls.
- Telegram delivers enquiries sent through the site to our team’s private chat.
- Email, file sharing, project management and invoicing tools that we use to correspond and work with clients.
- Accountants and public authorities, where the law requires it.
Some of these providers are based outside the European Economic Area. Where your data is transferred there, we rely on the safeguards the law provides, such as adequacy decisions and standard contractual clauses.
We never sell or rent personal data to anyone.
07
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not turn into a project are deleted within two years of our last conversation.
- Client and project records are kept for the length of our work together and, after it, for as long as Romanian tax and accounting law requires.
- Analytics are kept only in an aggregated form that does not identify you.
You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time. We will, unless the law requires us to keep it.
08
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- correct anything that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your data;
- restrict or stop a particular use of it;
- send your data to you, or to another provider, in a portable format.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email victor@baseline.agency. We reply within one month.
If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, ANSPDCP (dataprotection.ro), or to the authority in the country where you live. We would appreciate the chance to put it right first.
09
How we protect it
The site is served over an encrypted connection, and access to client information is limited to the people working on your project. If you need extra assurance, we are happy to sign an NDA before you share anything.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
10
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and significant changes will be made clear here.
